Mailen Broche is an advanced registered nurse practitioner who joined Gastroenterology Associates of Osceola in 2018. Mailen earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree with high honors in 2014, and since then she has been providing high level of care in multiple areas of healthcare including intensive care, emergency room, and as a nursing professor in Ana G Mendez University. She graduated summa cumulate in 2018 as a Family Nurse Practitioner from SouthUniversity. Mailen is bilingual in English and Spanish, and her energetic personality and caring approach have contributed significantly to the success in treatment and management of diseases in our facility.
Practice philosophy: Mailen believes in forging relationships with patients to understand their health needs and goals by working collaboratively with theinterdisciplinary team to achieve their best possible state of health.
Background: Originally from Cuba, Mailen came to United States in 2006, and since then she has dedicated her life to education and the community. She is an active volunteer at Give Kids the World since 2006 and also volunteers in the local shelters of Osceola and Orange County. Additionally, she is very passionate about teaching, so she is the mentor of multiple Nurse Practitioner Students. On her free time, she enjoys family gatherings, fishing, and spending time with her energetic toddler. Mailen Broche is currently perusing her doctorate degree in nursing while serving our patients and the community.
